This is the John Deere tractor David Sheridan purchased for the Amazon Golf Course

Ladies and Gentlemen, a drum roll please…It is my honor to announce that David Sheridan has purchased a John Deere 650 tractor with a 60 inch cut mower attachment and a rear blade attachment for the Amazon Golf Course. The tractor only shows 400 hours of use and Dave says it has been well maintained.

The tractor started out in New Jersey, was shipped to Houston to board the Yaca Puma cargo ship for delivery to Iquitos. It will be over a month before it arrives here where we are eagerly awaiting the shipment.

Try to imagine that we have been cutting the grass on 24 acres with two weed eaters and a push mower for a long time. It took 6 to 8 days to complete the whole course, and then start over. Now try to imagine how happy we will be to ride around and cut the grass in two days. Try to imagine how much more manicured and uniform the cut will be. How much nicer to play a round of golf.

This will be the single biggest improvement we can have in our operation. The next biggest improvement would be a specialized greens mower.
