Planting Trees, Free Golf Lessons, Blossoms, Saturday At The Amazon Golf Course

Cesar, Augusto, Orlando, and Rodrigo with the 25 Pomarosa saplings they scavenged from the neigborhood
Remember a couple of weeks ago when our neighbor to the east started a fire that spread over to our side of the fence killing several Pomarosa saplings? Animals ate the tops out of a few others and some died of natural causes. Altogether, we needed 32 replacement Pomarosa saplings to maintain our pattern.

Rodrigo, Cesar, Augusto, and Orlando volunteered to go around looking for new starts under mature Pomarosa trees in the neighborhood and toward the Itaya River. A couple of hours later they proudly returned with 25 healthy young Pomarosa starts, and immediately started planting them in our special compost mixture. Good work guys.

Last week we worked for two days fertilizing all of our trees and blooming bushes. It was gratifying to see new growth, vivid colors, and more blossoms only one week later. It will only get better.
